Taos Ski Valley

Taos Ski Valley is nestled in the Sangre de Cristo range at the beginning of the Rocky Mountains. Take on TAOS’s famed hike-to terrain and Kachina Peak or meander the valley of perfectly pitched blues & greens. With 120 trails spread throughout 1,294 acres of unparalleled big mountain terrain, nearly half of these trails are marked beginner or intermediate difficulty, making TAOS an ideal destination for skiers and riders of all experience levels. At the end of the day, the pure mountain experience continues even after you come off the slopes. Incorporated as a village in 1996 as New Mexico’s 100th municipality, Taos Ski Valley local culture and traditional European hospitality forms a welcoming spirit rooted in the natural environment.
